Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, Youth Volunteer Corps, health screening education and assistance, inner city missions, and disaster response.
The Plainville SDA Food Pantry is open on Wednesdays 12 - 7:00 pm or by appointments. Food and clothing are available. Presently, on a monthly basis we are giving out 350 large boxes of groceries to needy families.
We provide warm clothing in the winter months. Last winter we were able to provide over 100 people with warm coats.
We try to provide each child from the families that we serve with Christmas gifts. Last year we were able to provide 150 gifts to our needy families.
